The Orlando Magic are among the NBA teams being impacted by the league’s latest dilemma. Several NBA games had to be rescheduled as a result of the wildfires that impacted Southern California.
As Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers games were postponed, the decision impacted other teams’ future schedules in a domino effect. The same is true for the January winter storms in Atlanta and New Orleans, where matchups were also rescheduled.
In response, the NBA announced that three future Magic games have been rescheduled. The Magic’s matchup with Chicago Bulls originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 will now be moved up to Thursday, March 6, at 7 p.m. ET.
Orlando’s upcoming game versus the San Antonio Spurs has been moved back from Monday, March 17, to Tuesday, April 1, at 8 p.m. ET.

Finally, the Magic’s contest against the New Orleans Pelicans will be moved up significantly. The game has been switched from Sunday, April 6, to Thursday, March 13, at 8 p.m ET.
Head Coach Jamahl Mosley called tonight’s loss “not an Orlando Magic played basketball game.” He admitted the team was “soft, we got punked, and it’s not who we are.”

The Magic are trying to find their footing amid a recent losing skid. Orlando is just 2-8 in the team's last 10 games. Thursday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers means the Magic now have a losing record at 24-25.
