It took him until just a week before the start of the season, but Russell Westbrook has found a home for an 18th NBA campaign.
The nearly-37 year old veteran guard and the Sacramento Kings agreed to a deal for the 2025-26 season after he averaged 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 27.9 minutes-per-game with the Denver Nuggets last year. Westbrook is at the tail end of his career and the Kings are unlikely to be serious championship contenders, but NBA fans have one more season to appreciate one of the most intense and exciting players of his generation.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Westbrook has three assist titles and two scoring titles to his name to go with his 2016-17 MVP campaign – when he became the first person since Oscar Robertson to average a triple-double for an entire year. With that being said, how many of the players to be named NBA MVP can you name in seven minutes?
Good luck!
