The San Antonio Spurs had a rough shooting night in Game 1 of the NBA Finals at home, falling 105-95 to the New York Knicks.
Perhaps nobody embodied that struggle more than veteran De’Aaron Fox, who went just 3-for-13 from the field, 0-for-4 from three-point range and 1-for-2 from the free throw line. He also had just five assists to three turnovers in 38 minutes for a Finals debut he may want to forget.
While he’s still not playing at 100 percent, the Spurs are likely going to need a better version of Fox if they’re going to right the ship in Game 2 on Friday night.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. If Fox’s offense does take a minute to show up in Game 2, he may need to rely on the part of his game that got him the nickname ‘Swipa,’ and rack up some steals. With that being said, can you name every player to lead the NBA in steals for each season since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976-77 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
