The 'Season points-leaders by NBA team' quiz

Happy 25th birthday to four-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-NBA designee and former first-overall NBA Draft pick, Anthony Edwards.

Edwards averaged a career-high 28.8 points to go with 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists-per-game last year, but he and the Minnesota Timberwolves once again fell short of the NBA Finals. But this offseason, Minnesota brass got Edwards an early birthday present to hopefully help the T-Wolves over the hump – acquiring LaMelo Ball from the Charlotte Hornets.

Ball – who was taken two picks after Edwards in the 2020 NBA Draft and won Rookie of the Year – played a career-high 72 games in 2025-26 after campaigns of 36, 22 and 47 from 2022-25. As a result, the Hornets were one of the most exciting offenses in the NBA last year despite a minutes restriction limiting Ball to the fewest minutes-per-game of his career.

If the pair stay healthy, adding Ball’s run-and-gun style to Edwards’ insane athleticism should result in some jaw-dropping highlights at the Target Center in 2026-27.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Just six years into his professional career, Edwards has entrenched himself as one of the best players in Timberwolves history. With that being said, can you name the players to score the most points in a single season for each NBA franchise?

Good luck!
