The 'Yearly NBA 3-point percentage leaders' quiz

Happy 57th birthday to one-time NBA All-Star, 1991-92 first-team All-Rookie honoree, 2001-02 Sportsmanship Award winner and 2003 NBA champion, Steve Smith!

Smith was selected with the fifth-overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat out of Michigan, and he was an instant contributor for Miami. He started 59 games as a rookie, averaging 12.0 points and 4.6 assists in 29.6 minutes-per-game. He’d play three seasons and change with the Heat before getting dealt to Atlanta early in the 1994-95 season. He made his lone-career All-Star game in 1997-98 with the Hawks, before finishing his career with stints in Portland, San Antonio, New Orleans and Charlotte. Smith was a role piece for the Spurs in their 2002-03 run to the NBA Finals, and he retired after the 2004-05 season.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Smith led the entire NBA by making 47.2 percent of his 246 three-point attempts in 2001-02. With that being said, can you name every player to lead the NBA in three-point percentage for each season since the Three-Point Era began in 1979-80?

Good luck!
