Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton got the full support of his fiancé, Jade Jones, who recently expressed continued encouragement for the injured NBA star.

In a post on TikTok , Jade Jones, fiancée of Tyrese Haliburton, posted a video showing themselves in a wholesome moment. Haliburton can be seen still wearing his ankle braces as he lifts Jones. The video also celebrated their recent engagement as well as their new house.

“Torn Achilles ain’t got nothin on us,” she captioned the post.

Haliburton and Jones have a relationship that was fostered through their college ties and ongoing passion. They met at Iowa State while Jones cheered for the Cyclones and Haliburton was excelling in basketball. Their bond developed further after that, with the couple recently celebrating six years together this past April.

In July, Haliburton proposed to Jones at Iowa State’s Hilton Coliseum in a romantic setup of rose petals, candles, and a glowing “Will you marry me” display. The moment was made even more poignant by the fact that he walked without assistance despite wearing a medical boot from a recent injury.

Tyrese Haliburton Gets Honest on Any Game 7 Regrets

Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton says he has no regrets about suiting up for Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals despite the risk to his already injured calf , despite the decision ultimately leading to a torn Achilles tendon early in the decisive matchup.

Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Haliburton recalled the warnings he received from friends, family, and mentors to shut things down after Game 5. He even sought advice from Kevin Durant, who famously played through a calf strain in the 2019 Finals before suffering the same injury. Durant told him he didn’t regret playing, a sentiment Haliburton embraced heading into the game.

“It’s the Finals, man,” he added. “I’ve worked my whole life to be here and I want to be out there to compete. Help my teammates any way I can.”

Haliburton explained that what had transpired was more significant than personal risk, speaking to the fact that he had devoted his whole life to that level of competition and wanted to help his teammates in any way possible. He accomplished Game 6, and about five minutes into Game 7, he found his championship dreams simultaneously ruined along with his Achilles injury.

In addition to discussing his injury, Haliburton also dismissed speculation about the legitimacy of the NBA while joking that if it were scripted, the Pacers and Thunder would be the last two teams to benefit.

For the 2024 season, Tyrese Haliburton averaged 18.6 points per game, ranked third in the league during the season with 9.2 assists, and 3.5 rebounds.
