'Trust Me, I Know It': Caitlin Clark As Indiana Pacers Good Luck Charm Gets Approval From Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton isn’t brushing off the buzz — he knows Caitlin Clark might just be his team’s not-so-secret weapon during this wild playoff run.

On Friday, a Clark fan page posted a quote that basically confirmed what Pacers fans have been joking (and kinda seriously) talking about all postseason: Indiana doesn’t lose when Caitlin’s in the building. Haliburton, asked about it by ESPN, had the perfect response:

“Trust me,” he said. “I know it. And if I didn’t know it, everyone would make sure that I did.”

Fair enough — the stat speaks for itself. The Pacers are a perfect 8-0 when Clark shows up courtside. The most recent win? Game 3 of the NBA Finals, where Indiana knocked off the OKC Thunder 116-107 to take a 2-1 series lead. Two more wins, and they’re champions.

Haliburton’s been the man all playoffs — knocking down clutch shots, leading the charge, silencing the doubters — but hey, even stars need a little lucky charm. And right now, Caitlin Clark’s presence is hitting harder than sage in the locker room.

“I Cuss Way Too Much”: Caitlin Clark’s Reaction to Haliburton’s Game-Winner Is So Real

Clark has been fully riding the Pacers playoff wave during her time off with a quad injury — and like every real fan, she’s living (and screaming) through the highs and lows.

In a convo with ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, she shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes moment after Haliburton nailed a clutch shot:

“I have a video on my phone I’m never going to show anybody,” she said, laughing. “I videotaped myself, like, the final play and I have my reaction in real time. It’s a pretty iconic video. Maybe one day everybody will see it, but no, not right now. I cuss way too much.”

Relatable? Extremely.

Whether it’s her courtside karma or Haliburton’s cold-blooded finishing, something is definitely clicking for Indiana. And with both Clark and Tyrese fully embracing the Hoosier life, this city’s basketball moment feels bigger than ever.
