The Indiana Pacers may not presently be in the NBA Playoffs, but Tyrese Haliburton is staying very active on the happenings around the NBA landscape.

On Monday, popular content creator Kenny Beecham announced an NBA radio show on Sirius XM Radio every Monday. It was a big milestone for the famed YouTuber turned NBA on NBC analyst. But not everyone was a fan.

Frank Isola, who hosts a radio show with former NBA Champion Brian Scalabrine on Sirius XM Radio, expressed his frustrations that his how would be cut short by an hour in order to add Beecham’s show.

“Alright the Kenny Beecham hour with Kenny Beecham, aptly named,” Isola said.God forbid we name it the Frank Isola and Brian Scalabrine show but we’ve only been doing this show for how many years now? 15. When you walk in first day, they’re going to name a show after you. Debuting today at noon… And whoever did the read, they wanted me to write down Mondays just got better, which means our show — they’ll be taking an hour off our show — and Warren wants me to write that Monday’s just got better. Because now an hour of our show will be cut.”

Well Beecham posted the snippet of Isola’s comments, which Scalabrine attempted to stop, uncut. In the post, Beecham said, “This is weird. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

Within minutes, fans responded to Isola’s comments, and within 24 hours, the tweet has over 6.3 million views with mentions from NBA personalities and players from around the league. One of them being Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton.

Haliburton posted a popular meme in response to Isola’s question on the show, “Who’s got a bigger name? Me or him?”

Fans all over social media ran with the hilarious quote and expressed how much they knew Beecham while knowing nothing about Isola.

It takes me back to a famous tweet from all the way back in 2020. “Each day on twitter there is one main character. The goal is to never be it.”

Needless to say, Isola became the main character, and for good reason.

Isola has yet to make any comment after his remarks on the show, but his tweets from prior to the comments have been flooded with fans taking jabs at him. The Pacers star likely helped start a trend of dunking on the radio personality after his comments.
