In a recent interview with Malika Andrews from ESPN, Tyrese Haliburton sat down to discuss the run this Indiana Pacers team is on. He also shared some of the growth and maturity that came with everything this season.

The Pacers had a mediocre start to the regular season this year, starting the season with a record of 6-9. Haliburton shared his thoughts with Andrews about this very topic. He admitted that doubt began to creep into the locker room on whether they had what it took to make a run this season. He also shared what his focus was this season.

"Getting the team back to where they are accustomed to being, and making the Pacers fun again," Haliburton shared as his main goal. He said the key to erasing the doubt for him has been to control what is controllable, which is a message that can even carry beyond the hardwood.

What has that shift in focus meant for this team? All you have to do is look how far they have come. Haliburton goes on to share that the team is "not satisfied just being here." He says the key to their success is never being satisfied.

He also explained to Andrews the key to their success this postseason. He shared that their offense is built from the inside. With two excellent post players in Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner, it is easy to run either of them at a high post position, and have them create their own shot, or find the open man on the wing as designed.

Andrews asked him if he had another game-winner in him.

"Let's hope that we are playing well enough that it doesn't come down to that. If the moment's there, I am ready," Haliburton said as he smiled.

He has proven to shake off the "overrated" designation given to him by his peers this season. He is focused on bringing the national title back to Indiana. Don't look now, Haliburton, but the moment is here.

The final result is undetermined, but the focus is for sure. They are succeeding in making the Pacers fun again. Mission accomplished.
