The New Orleans Pelicans are set to host the NBA’s best team in that of the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, Ball is dealing with a stomach virus and is questionable to go for the game.
Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball was sent home from practice today with a stomach virus. Uncertain if he will play against Lakers tomorrow.— Marc J. Spears (@MarcJSpearsESPN) November 26, 2019
This would certainly suck for Ball. We’re sure he wants to show the Lakers what they are missing despite a 15-2 start to the season.
The No. 2 overall pick back in 2017, Ball is averaging 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 39% from the field this season.
If Ball were to miss Wednesday’s game, his next opportunity to go up against the Lakers would come Jan. 3.
