Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The New Orleans Pelicans are set to host the NBA’s best team in that of the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.

It would represent Lonzo Ball’s first opportunity to exact revenge against the team that traded him to New Orleans in the Anthony Davis deal this past summer.

Unfortunately, Ball is dealing with a stomach virus and is questionable to go for the game.

This would certainly suck for Ball. We’re sure he wants to show the Lakers what they are missing despite a 15-2 start to the season.

The No. 2 overall pick back in 2017, Ball is averaging 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 39% from the field this season.

If Ball were to miss Wednesday’s game, his next opportunity to go up against the Lakers would come Jan. 3.
