Victor Wembanyama is about to enter his third NBA season with the San Antonio Spurs.

Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs have higher expectations this year as they could take a major leap in the Western Conference. Wembanyama will try to get his first taste of the playoffs this season.

Wembanyama opened up about that experience and what he learned from the hall of famer.

“He’s still got it, he’s 62. It was incredible, because it felt natural, his advice, even though it was a lot, it felt like I was absorbing it every day, and it was just a few days.

“Man, super useful, and he still got it. It’s natural for him, and it looked like it was a pleasure for him to teach. I would want to go again for sure.”

Victor Wembanyama says Kevin Garnett has a ‘unique perspective’ when it comes to being a leader

Wembanyama also had a chance to meet up with Kevin Garnett.

Wembanyama talked about his time spent with The Big Ticket and what he gathered from him.

“He’s got a very unique perspective on the relationship as a leader, relationship with teammates and opponents, even the refs.

“I think he’s really smart emotionally, he’s got this energy, but he knows how to channel it and use it for the best.”

Wembanyama averaged 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in 46 games last season. He is primed to have his best season yet after a full offseason of recovery and mentorship from some of the best players to ever play the game.
