After winning the last two games without Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs had him back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The Spurs managed to secure the upset, winning a close 104-94 ball game.

Wembanyama had a strong outing in his return from a knee injury. The Spurs sophomore sensation posted 25 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, three blocks, and one steal in the win.

Wembanyama was not the only player who had a standout performance. Spurs rookie guard Stephon Castle scored 19 points, while adding three rebounds and three assists.

In the post-game press conference, Wembanyama had plenty of praise for his young teammate.

"Today he was on," Wembanyama told reporters. "He had some something going on. I could feel it. I think everybody could feel it. He was super locked in. I have blind trust in him. I've said many times, he's playing like he's much more experienced than he is."

Wembanyama added this when discussing a deep 3-point shot that Castle took in the fourth quarter: "We trust him. Knowing where we want to go, where we want Stephon to be, how important we want him to be in the future, it's a necessity that he takes these kind of shots. We eventually want him to be a menace from everywhere."

The win over the Warriors gives the Spurs their third straight. At 9-8, they are sitting right outside of the Western Conference Play-In seeding, currently occupying the 11th spot in the conference.
