After remaining on the Trail Blazers‘ roster through August 1, Vit Krejci‘s non-guaranteed $2,667,944 salary is now partially guaranteed for $250K, as our list of early salary guarantee dates shows.

The next important salary guarantee date for Krejci will be the day of Portland’s first regular season game. The team’s schedule has not yet been announced, but that contest will likely occur sometime in late October. The Czech guard’s full salary will be guaranteed if he’s still on the team beyond that date.

Krejci’s contract features a very similar team-friendly structure for 2027/28. His $3,005,085 salary for that season will be non-guaranteed until August 1, 2027. If the 26-year-old is still under contract past that date, he’ll earn a $281,592 partial guarantee, and his full salary will be guaranteed if he’s still on his current deal beyond his team’s opening game of the ’27/28 regular season.

Portland acquired Krejci from Atlanta in February for Duop Reath and two second-round picks. Reath, who suffered a season-ending foot fracture in late January, was subsequently released by the Hawks.

A 6’8″ guard who was selected 37th overall in the 2020 draft, Krejci has emerged as a solid outside shooter in recent years, knocking down 39.3% of his career three-point attempts. He was limited to just 19 appearances with the Blazers down the stretch of last season due to a left calf bruise, which caused him to miss 13 consecutive games.

A report in May suggested Portland remains intrigued by Krejci’s defensive tools, shooting, and team-friendly contract.
