As expected, Al Horford is headed to Golden State.
The veteran big man has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Warriors, his agent Jason Glushon told ESPN’s Shams Charania. Training camp opens tomorrow.
Horford, 38, spent seven of the past nine seasons in Boston and helped the Celtics capture the 2024 NBA championship.
He now enters his 19th NBA season as the Warriors’ projected starting center, bringing leadership, defense, and playoff experience to a team looking to make one more push with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
