Warriors Converting Anthony Lamb Deal; Signing Lester Quinones to Two-Way
Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Warriors intend to convert the contract of small forward Anthony Lamb from a two-way deal to a standard one and sign him for the rest of the season, per Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

In addition, the Warriors will sign guard Lester Quinones to Lamb’s vacated two-way spot, Charania and Slater added.

Lamb, 25, is 6-foot-6 and has been a regular part of the rotation, thanks in part to some of the Warriors’ starters. In 50 games, he is averaging 7.0 points and 3.4 rebounds, shooting 48 percent from the field and 40 percent on 3-pointers.

This is Lamb’s third NBA season, and first with the Warriors. He has also spent time with the Spurs and Rockets, playing 26 games total in the two seasons before this.

Quinones, 22, is 6-5 and was signed to a 10-day contract by the Warriors back on March 1. He did not appear in a game during that stretch.

Before that, he played for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League and averaged 22.0 points.

Quinones, who played his college ball at Memphis, averaged 17.4 points and 4.8 rebounds, shooting 49 percent from the field, in the G League last season.
