With Steph Curry watching from the sidelines, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors suffered an embarrassing 129-101 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.

Curry remains out with a lingering knee injury, which has forced Green and the rest of the squad to carry a much heavier load of late. The Warriors just didn’t have enough in them on Saturday as they were utterly dominated by Luka Doncic and Co.

At one point in the game, Green was seen berating his teammates during a timeout. The video also went viral because of how Curry reacted to the former Defensive Player of the Year’s intense moment.

Green was trying to light a fire under his team. Beside him, Curry was seen staring at Green intently as the latter went off on the bench.

Curry subtly nodded his head as he listened to Green’s fiery speech. However, more than a few fans interpreted Curry’s reaction in a negative light. Viewers accused Curry of being fed up with his long-time teammate. According to some supporters, Curry seemed tired of all of Green’s antics.

Green addressed the incident on a recent episode of his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show.” The Warriors veteran shared his brutally honest view.

“I see a lot of people’s reactions, like, ‘Oh man Steph’s tired of Draymond,’” Green started. “And quite honestly, what I saw in the video and what I’ve taken away from the video — and be that I kind of talk to Steph every day — was that he was in agreeance of what I said.

“We were getting our [expletive] kicked, so you’re not going to be sitting there smiling or enthused.”

In true Draymond Green fashion, the four-time All-Star expressed how he simply doesn’t care about all the talk.

“I love how everyone tries to project their energy about me onto Steph,” Green continued. “When, quite honestly, their energy really doesn’t [expletive] matter when it comes to me. ... I think the reaction to it was pretty hilarious."

Curry has not spoken about the clip, and the Warriors superstar has not addressed his alleged feelings towards Green. For his part, however, it is abundantly clear how Green feels about all this noise.

The Warriors are back in action on Thursday. They will be on the road against the Houston Rockets, looking to improve on their 31-30 record. As of writing, Golden State is eighth in the Western Conference with 21 games remaining in the regular season.
