The longer the NBA playoffs go on, the more likely it is that Draymond Green will end up receiving a suspension for technical fouls.
Green was called for a technical foul during the first half of Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinal between his Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center in Minneapolis on Thursday night. Naz Reid was defending Green and reached in to try for a steal. Reid had fouled Green in the process and was called for a foul. But Green’s reaction to the foul was the issue.
Green used his left arm and swatted Reid in the head.

Green was called for a technical foul for that move. That gave him his 5th technical foul of this postseason. If a player is called for 7 technical fouls in the same postseason, they get suspended. Green is also two flagrant foul points away from an automatic suspension.
The Golden State Warriors veteran Green was upset about the technical foul and let the officials hear it.
All that complaining did not help his case.
The Warriors entered Game 2 with a 1-0 series lead. With the series set to go at minimum five games, Green was on pace to end up with a suspension.
