The Golden State Warriors enter the offseason needing to upgrade their roster around their veteran trio to become title contenders next season.
Of course, the Warriors are coming off a season that saw them turn things around after adding Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline to pair next to Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
With their new star trio, Golden State was able to make it to the second round of the playoffs where they fell in five games to the Minnesota Timberwolves after Curry suffered an injury in Game 1.
Now the Warriors enter a crucial offseason with some key decisions to make regarding their roster and a massive report came out on Monday that could signal that Golden State is eyeing a major move.
According to NBA insider Rob Murrows, the Warriors have internally discussed packaging Moses Moody in sign-and-trade scenarios with Jonathan Kuminga.

Of course, Kuminga is a restricted free agent this summer and with him falling out of Steve Kerr’s rotation, the Warriors could elect to move on from the young forward via a sign-and-trade deal.
With Kuminga possibly being on the move in the offseason, it is clear that the Warriors are looking to make a major move due to Murrows’ report that they could include Moody in a trade package.
Moody played well for the Warriors this season as he started 34 of 74 games and averaged a career-high 9.8 points to go along with 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assist per game while shooting 43.3% from the field and 37.4% from three.
While Moody has continued to improve every season of his career thus far, packaging him and Kuminga in a trade could allow Golden State to go after another star player or upgrade their lineup this summer as they chase a championship behind their aging trio next season.
