The Golden State Warriors won't have Stephen Curry for their two-game home stand against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Round 2 of the Western Conference playoffs, but there's a chance he could return before the team's postseason run is over.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Saturday, May 10, just minutes ahead of the start of Game 3 at Chase Center in San Francisco, that Curry is continuing rehabilitation and that there isn't a set date for his return. The team announced he would miss at least a week after suffering a hamstring strain in the first half of Game 1 in Minnesota.
However, Charania also mentioned the Warriors' goal of simply winning one of two games at home, which would guarantee a Game 6 back in the Bay Area on May 18. That is the team's most hopeful target date for a potential Curry return, roughly a week and a half after suffering the soft tissue injury -- the first major such infliction of his NBA career.

"He'll be reevaluated on Wednesday," Charania said. "Internally there is uncertainty, and I'm told the Warriors are really looking at that Game 6 as the earliest potential window for Stephen Curry's return."
Golden State announced ahead of Game 3 that second-year big man Trayce Jackson-Davis would get the starting nod.
The team may also lean more heavily on Jonathan Kuminga, who provided a spark off the bench in Game 2, despite essentially removing him from the rotation near the end of the regular season and through most of Round 1 against the Houston Rockets.
