Following a red-hot first four months to the 2021-2022 season, the Golden State Warriors have hit a bit of a rough patch over the last few weeks, dropping four games in a row and eight of their last 10. They could be getting back their anchor on defense in the near future though.

Green hasn't played since taking the floor for the opening seconds of teammate Klay Thompson's emotional return after two years, back in early January. Green experienced left calf tightness during warm-ups prior to the Jan. 9 game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but in recognition of his Thompson, Green stayed on the court for the opening moments of the contest and was then removed for the rest of the night.
The 32-year-old has averaged 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game in 34 contests. Green has also shot a career-best 53.7% from the field.
The Warriors are currently 43-21 and in third place in the Western Conference standings.
