Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors were able to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs on Sunday night, defeating the up-and-coming Houston Rockets by a final score of 103-89 in Game 7.

Despite holding a 3-1 series lead after a Game 4 win, the Warriors saw the Rockets push them to the brink of elimination. It was a great series, but Curry and company found a way to put together an impressive performance to close Houston out.

Now, Golden State will begin preparing to face Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round, with Game 1 coming on Tuesday night.

Throughout his career, Curry has broken records and broken the hearts of opponents many times. He also holds a very intriguing playoff record that many may not know about.

As shared by @StatMamba on X after the Warriors' Game 7 win over the Rockets, Curry leads the NBA all-time in fourth quarter Game 7 scoring. That is just another fun fact to add onto his legacy of being a clutch player.

Curry has won four NBA championships throughout his career. He's hoping to add another one to that list this year. His clutch ability is a big reason for the rings he has.

Following the Game 7 win over Houston, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr spoke out with a strong take of Curry.

"I'm blown away by Steph [Curry's] competitive fight at 37," Kerr said. "[He has] 4 rings, gold medal. He has nothing to prove and yet he's gonna come in and try to prove something every single night. It's amazing."
