The Golden State Warriors haven’t had the type of season they were expecting to have thus far. Heading into Saturday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Golden State’s record stood at a dismal 13-15.
The Warriors recently fell to the Suns in a heartbreaking 99-98 loss just two days prior. Stephen Curry, bouncing back from a tough shooting night, led the charge with sharp playmaking and clutch scoring, while Jimmy Butler continued his strong form.
Curry finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. He shot 4-11 from three. Butler added 25 points for Golden State, which was enough to hold off Devin Booker’s 38 points, as the Warriors won 119-116.
This victory improved Golden State’s record and kept them in the Western Conference playoff hunt, highlighting their resilience amid a challenging season.
