The altercation started after Pistons center Jalen Duren shoved Hornets center Moussa Diabate in the face following a shooting foul.
Diabate had to be restrained before Pistons center Isaiah Stewart left the bench and got tangled up with Hornets forward Miles Bridges. Punched were thrown by both sides as coaches and players scrambled to separate them.
All four players were ultimately ejected from the game.
The Hornets are looking for their 10th straight win, which would be a new longest winning streak in franchise history.
