New signee Quentin Grimes was also showing off his 1-on-1 capabilities, looking more than capable of creating his own buckets, something that should be even easier for him playing off of Reaves and Doncic.

Players like Bronny James, Adou Thiero and Dalton Knecht also had moments in the video as the Lakers will look to hit the ground running this season.

Expectations for this team are somewhat middling right now as many feel the loss of LeBron James and multiple other role players has set this team back for this coming season. But with Doncic leading the way, Reaves locked down on a new multi-year deal and a host of role players that fit the duo well, the Lakers believe they will be able to compete with the best the Western Conference has to offer. And they will get the chance to prove it soon.

While the Lakers should be able to generate many points thanks to the duo of Doncic and Reaves, which was the highest scoring in the NBA last season, there are some concerns about whether this team can get enough stops on the defensive end and former coach Byron Scott is one of those who is worried about this exact thing.
