Watch: Kevin Durant hits winning bucket with 1.6 seconds left as Suns stay hot

Kevin Durant kept the Suns hot with a clutch basket against the Bulls on Monday night.

Tied at 113, Durant got the ball on the run off a bounce pass from center Jusuf Nurkic. He dribbled once, pulled up from 17 feet away from the rim and double-clutched, avoiding block attempts from Bulls guard Alex Caruso and forward Patrick Williams, before draining the winning shot with 1.1 seconds left.

Durant finished with 43 points, including 17 in the fourth, on 16-of-32 shooting. He also had 40 points a day earlier in the Suns' 117-110 win over the Pacers.

Phoenix has won six straight, pushing them to fifth in the Western Conference. Durant is averaging 29.2 points per game during that span.

The Suns began the season cold, going 19-18 through their first 37 games. With the core that also includes Devin Booker and Bradley Beal healthy, Phoenix is starting to play like the team many thought it would be.

It certainly helps that Durant, 17 seasons in his NBA career, is still at his peak.
