Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook had a lousy outing this week against the Los Angeles Clippers, managing only two points in a 103-97 loss.
Following the final buzzer, Westbrook confronted a Lakers fan who had shouted something nasty at the nine-time All-Star as he headed to the locker room.

The fan waited until Westbrook was out of view to yell, "Westbrook, you suck a--." However, Westbrook heard the taunt and returned to confront the fan face-to-face, asking, "What'd you say?"
The fan quickly changed his tune, offering an encouraging, "C'mon baby, we need you," before Westbrook walked away.
Westbrook struggled against the Clippers, finishing 0-of-11 from the field and 0-of-6 from three, tallying his only two points from the free-throw line as the Lakers dropped to 0-2 out of the gates.
Run-ins with fans are nothing new for Westbrook. In 2021, while playing for the Washington Wizards, Westbrook was involved in another altercation as he walked to the locker room. Westbrook had to be restrained by several members of the Wizards' coaching staff after a fan at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia poured popcorn on his head.
"To be blatantly honest, man, this s--- is getting out of hand, especially for me," Westbrook said after the incident. "The amount of disrespect, the amount of fans just doing whatever the f--- they want to do, it's just out of pocket, man. It's out of pocket, seriously."
