The New Orleans Pelicans duo of Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson could dominate the league for years to come. The pair showed why on Thursday night by connecting for an incredible alley-oop slam right in a defender’s face.

New Orleans has dominated the Chicago Bulls throughout the night and it only continued in the fourth quarter.

When Ball saw Zion create a little separation from the Bulls' Thaddeus Young, he tossed it right over Young's outstretched hands and Zion snatched it and threw it down for the emphatic jam.

This isn’t the first time the pair have connected for an alley-oop. While they’ve only played a few games together in the regular season, Ball and Zion are already showing the type of connection that veteran teammates usually have. It’s incredible to see the pair making highlight plays like this seem routine on a nightly basis.

If Brandon Ingram can come back healthy after sustaining an ankle sprain Thursday, the Pelicans will be nearly unstoppable during the second half of the season.

Fans in New Orleans can look forward to more jaw-dropping dunks from Zion and Jaxson Hayes in the weeks and years to come.
