Watch: Naz Reid has intense online DM exchange with IG troll

Naz Reid and his Minnesota Timberwolves have been sent home from the playoffs. Before losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Reid engaged in an intense online DM exchange with an Instagram troll.

Fans always talk trash after a team loses a game or a series. Usually, when this happens, players choose not to engage. There’s no point in doing it, as it only causes more attention to the situation.

Sometimes, however, a player can’t help to respond. That’s exactly what Reid did.

Reid’s intense online DM exchange proves that players are human after all. Emotions were obviously high after falling into a 3-1 series hole in the Western Conference Finals.

Facing trash talk from a fan certainly didn’t help the situation. With Reid and his Timberwolves officially out of the postseason, they’ll have to regroup and figure out how to improve for next season.
