Watch: Prospect Victor Wembanyama shows why he's consensus No. 1 pick for 2023 NBA Draft

Sporting a versatile game, imposing 7-foot-3 Frenchman Victor Wembanyama heads toward this summer's NBA draft as the consensus No. 1 overall pick.

While the 18-year-old prospect has already created enough highlights to fill a long and impressive reel, he may have outdone himself on Friday.

During an LNB Betclic ELITE matchup between Wembanyama's Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 and Limoges CSP, his freakish skill set that has NBA teams salivating shined brightly. During the second quarter, Wembanyama showed some sick handles before topping off his dribbling seminar by swishing a ridiculous one-legged three-pointer.

Wembanyama led Boulogne-Levallois to a 78-69 victory, finishing with 33 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.

With Wembanyama's NBA debut still nearly a year away, expectations are already sky-high. Last month, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James heaped unbelievable praise Wembanyama's way.

"Everybody's been a unicorn over the last few years, but he's more like an alien," James said. King James went even further, saying Wembanyama was "a generational talent."

While Wembanyama has received an endorsement from James, the NBA has also taken notice by streaming all of Wembanyama's games with Metropolitans 92 on the league's app for free.

Whether or not Wembanyama turns into the NBA's next big thing remains to be seen, but it's clear he has all the tools to take the league by storm next fall.
