The 2025 NBA Draft Lottery took place on Monday evening and we now know what teams are picking in the lottery this season. The team that wins the lottery is going to be able to have the ability to draft Duke forward Cooper Flagg, one of the most hyped prospects in recent memory. Flagg finished his freshman season winning the AP Player of the Year as he averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game with a 48.1/38.5/84.0 shooting split in 37 games. But which team won the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery? Let’s take a look.

What was the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery Order?

The Dallas Mavericks were able to win the 2025 NBA Draft just three months after trading away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Below are the first 14 picks in the NBA Draft after the lottery has concluded.

14. San Antonio Spurs (via Spurs)

13. Atlanta Hawks (via Kings)

12. Chicago Bulls

11. Portland Trail Blazers

10. Houston Rockets (via Suns)

9. Toronto Raptors

8. Brooklyn Nets

7. New Orleans Pelicans

6. Washington Wizards

5. Utah Jazz

4. Charlotte Hornets

3. Philadelphia 76ers

2. San Antonio Spurs

1. Dallas Mavericks

Dallas has done something incredible as their franchises have won the draft lottery in the NBA and WNBA, meaning Paige Bueckers and Cooper Flagg could be the future of the city’s sports teams. The Mavericks entered the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery with just a 1.8% chance to get the first pick and they were able to do so. Now, with a team having Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, and potentially Cooper Flagg as a big three and a potential to add via the trade market, this could make the Dallas Mavericks scary going forward.

The San Antonio Spurs getting the second pick also adds a lot of hype with the combination of Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox getting a dominating talent as well. We have to wait until June 25th to see how the first round of the NBA Draft will look this year.
