The Detroit Pistons(10-53) own the worst record in the NBA this season, and the frustration of the fanbase is starting to boil over.
During a home game against the Mavericks Saturday night, a spectator at the Little Caesars Arena started heckling Pistons general manager Troy Weaver for putting together a losing ball club.
As seen in the video below, Weaver didn't take kindly to the fan's taunting and fired back at him with an expletive-laced response. After the two traded insults, Weaver got the fan ejected from the arena.

The testy exchange between Weaver and the fan was witnessed by Pistons season ticket holder Jeffrey Calloway, who narrated his version of the incident to the Associated Press.
"The guy that was in the incident, with the Red Wings stuff on, came over and was pointing at the scoreboard earlier in the game," Calloway recalled. "Troy Weaver just shrugged his shoulders and said, 'OK,' and the guy went back to his seat.
"When [Jalen] Duren got ejected, the guy came back and told him that he was terrible at his job. Then, Troy Weaver was telling the fan he had to leave and that's when ushers or security walked over."
While there have been several instances of players, such as LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Russell Westbrook, getting hecklers thrown out of games in recent years, this is definitely the first time an NBA front-office executive has been caught on camera jawing with a fan.
Earlier in the season, the Pistons set a single-season record with 28 consecutive losses that they suffered between Oct. 20 to Dec. 30, 2023. Since Weaver took as their GM in 2020, the Pistons have endured four consecutive losing seasons -- 20-52 in 2020-21, 23-59 in 2021-22, 17-65 in 2022-23 and 10-53 thus far this season. Overall, the Pistons have maintained a record of 70-229 under Weaver's watch.
