You Can Buy Kevin Durant’s Former Home for $35

Technically, you can offer $35 for Kevin Durant’s old house, but don’t expect to actually snag it for that price.

Durant’s former luxury townhome in Oklahoma City just hit the market, and the asking price? A cool $35. Not $35,000, not $35 million. Just 35 bucks. The jaw-dropping number is part of a clever marketing stunt by Thunder Team Realty, and it’s doing exactly what it was meant to do: get people talking.

“We’ve had hundreds of offers,” said listing agent Ieasha Larkpor. “Some are in the high six figures, which is what we were hoping for. But yes, I’ve also gotten real $35 offers. And yes, I have to present them.”

The home itself is no joke. Durant bought it in 2013 for nearly $1.8 million while playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder and customized it to fit his 6-foot-11 frame. We’re talking four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens, a private elevator, an extra-long bathtub and some seriously bold interior design choices. The furniture and artwork? Those might even be negotiable.

In 2017, Durant sold one of the two units to a neighbor for $1.15 million. That buyer loved KD’s style so much, they barely changed a thing.

Despite the superstar pedigree and luxury touches, the townhome remains unsold. So, the team decided to shake things up with that playful $35 listing. And it’s working — the listing has gone viral and even caught the attention of a local TV crew.

With the Oklahoma City market still moving quickly and homes staying on the market for fewer days than last year, it might not be long before the right buyer comes along.

So, got $35 and a dream? Toss your offer in. Just don’t be surprised if someone else has already beaten you by at least a few zeros.
