You know how boxers spar in headgear to avoid injury before a big fight? I’m thinking the USC Men’s Basketball team should take a similar approach now that OJ Mayo has joined the squad.

USC got a taste of the new basketball era with prep superstar OJ Mayo joining the team, as he reportedly punched a teammate in the jaw and broke it. The media has reported that it was a "hard elbow", but another player states that Mayo clearly punched him. Either way, its going to be an interesting ride with Mayo in LA this year. Watch out for those Trojans.
