No Tippin' Pippen

In a 1997 Sports Illustrated article, at the height of his playing career, Scottie Pippen was named as one of the three worst tippers in the NBA, a reputation that earned him the nickname “No Tippin' Pippen.” That was ten years ago, when Pippen actually had some championship coin to throw around. Now, he’s millions in debt and Charles Barkley compares the former Bull’s chances of returning to the NBA to his desire to be thin. That doesn’t sound like positive news for the wait staff.

So, this is why the 41 year old wants to come back to the NBA. "It was reported Thursday that the Missouri Court of Appeals has upheld a ruling from last year in St. Louis County in which a judge agreed that Pippen owed U.S. Bank about $5.021 million in principal, interest and attorney fees from a dispute over a private jet and company Pippen once owned." Note to self. Private Jets are not the most cost effective form of transportation.
