The 2025 NFL Draft will feature a deep draft class with plenty of prospects capable of being real difference-makers. It will be interesting to see who ends up as the No. 1 overall pick, but it is presumed that the Tennessee Titans will select a quarterback. And while there will be many names that will be called throughout the weekend, not all of them will pan out. Some could end up being major busts.
However, as is the case with almost every draft, some of the players selected could end up being perennial All-Pros and Pro Bowlers who will become superstars in the league. They will become some of the game’s best. In fact, with draft day nearing, let’s take a look at three potential surefire Hall of Famers from the 2025 NFL Draft.
Aside from the quarterback, left tackles and defensive ends are the highest-paid players on a team. It can be hard to find an elite pass rusher. But whoever drafts Carter will be very happy with the player that they get. Becoming an impact player the moment he joined Penn State, Carter capped off his college career with 68 total tackles, 12 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries.
He helped Penn State earn a spot in the College Football Playoff and be one of college football’s best defenses. Projected to be a top-five pick, some mock drafts even have him being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. A dynamic pass rusher who tackles like a linebacker, Carter would add instant flair to any team’s defense.
Arguably the most important position on the field besides the quarterback, having a top-tier left tackle is the key for any team looking to make a Super Bowl run. The quarterback’s blindside needs the most protection. While you have your superstars in Trent Williams, Laremy Tunsil, and Penei Sewell, it is harder nowadays to find a long-term left tackle.
Campbell has all the makings of being a bonafide superstar. A consensus All-American in 2024 and a First-team All-SEC selection in 2023 and 2024, Campbell was a major force during his career at LSU, with his 6-foot-6, 323-pound frame vital in the protection of Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Garrett Nussmeier. While some don’t have him ranked as the best at his position, Campbell has the potential to be a top-five pick and could evolve into an All-Pro rather quickly. He could be a steal in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Boise State took the college football world by storm and Jeanty was at the center of it. As a freshman in 2022, a season in which he started only two games, Jeanty recorded over 800 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns before breaking out as a sophomore. He carried the ball 220 times for 1,347 yards and 14 touchdowns. But it was his senior season that put his name onto the map.
He led Division I with 374 carries for 2,601 yards and a career-high 29 touchdowns. Jeanty the Broncos to a Mountain West title and an appearance in the College Football Playoff. Drawing comparisons to Barry Sanders and coming in second for the Heisman Trophy, Jeanty put himself in position to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He is expected to be a day one starter. Any team that drafts him will look to set him up for success and turn him into an instant star.
The reality is that there is no way of knowing yet whether or not any of these players will pan out. But from what these players were able to show in college, they may see even more success in the NFL. They will evolve into the next batch of legends that play on the gridiron at the highest level. The 2025 NFL Draft can go down as an all-time one.
