2025 NFL Week 12 Preview & Predictions
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen gets ready to line up with some of his running bavks and receivers during first half action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov 16, 2025 at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season is here, and Thanksgiving football is right around the corner. As the playoffs draw closer every week, these matchups are getting bigger.

Buffalo Bills (7-3) @ Houston Texans (5-5)

Josh Allen showed his alien side again last week in a 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bills might be heating back up at the right time, and they can bring a backup QB back down to earth.

The Texans are once again turning to Davis Mills, with C.J. Stroud missing his third game due to a concussion. The Texans are 2-0 with Mills under center, but they haven’t played a team like the Bills yet.

Winner: Buffalo Bills

New York Jets (2-8) @ Baltimore Ravens (5-5)

The Jets have officially benched Justin Fields and handed the starting QB job to Tyrod Taylor. They’re hoping the veteran might bring a spark to a team that’s already looking to 2026.

The Ravens are on a four-game winning streak and looking to run the table to earn a playoff spot. This feels like a no-brainer, even if Baltimore’s playoff hopes weren’t on the line.

Winner: Baltimore Ravens

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) @ Chicago Bears (7-3)

Aaron Rodgers suffered a “slight fracture” in his left wrist in the Steelers’ Week 11 victory. They’ll be turning to backup Mason Rudolph on Sunday. It’s a shame, too; this might have been Rodgers’ last chance to own the Bears.

The Bears are white hot right now. They’re 7-1 in their last eight games and in first place in the NFC North. There’s a different feeling in Chicago right now.

Winner: Chicago Bears

New England Patriots (9-2) @ Cincinnati Bengals (3-7)

This is one of the easier picks of the week. The Bengals looked rough in their loss to the Steelers last week, and Drake Maye is a top candidate for NFL MVP. New England is back.

Winner: New England Patriots

New York Giants (2-9) @ Detroit Lions (6-4)

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams (1) scores a touchdown against Philadelphia Eagles during the first half at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

The Lions’ offense was absolutely rattled in their Monday night loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Jared Goff was pressured all night and couldn’t find any connections.

The Giants are a lost cause in 2025 . Jaxson Dart might make his return from concussion protocol, but he doesn’t have much to work with. This could be a close game, but the Lions should win.

Winner: Detroit Lions

Minnesota Vikings (4-6) @ Green Bay Packers (6-3-1)

The Vikings are 0-2 since J.J. McCarthy revealed “Nine” to the world. They haven’t scored more than 20 points since Week 9, and look lost in the NFC North.

The Packers are coming off a “get-right” win over the Giants, but now may be without Josh Jacobs. This should be a win for them, but it’s hard to tell at this point.

Winner: Green Bay Packers

Indianapolis Colts (8-2) @ Kansas City Chiefs (5-5)

The Colts are coming off a bye week and facing a desperate Chiefs team. Indy hasn’t faced many strong teams this season, but this might be a real test.

The Chiefs are in third place in the AFC West and in danger of missing the playoffs. They need this win, and beating an 8-2 Colts team might legitimize them again. It’s hard to bet against Kansas City.

Winner: Kansas City Chiefs

Seattle Seahawks (7-3) @ Tennessee Titans (1-9)

The Seahawks are the lock of the week here. They nearly beat the Los Angeles Rams despite Sam Darnold throwing four interceptions. Now, they face arguably the worst team in football. This is Darnold’s chance to get right ahead of the postseason.

Winner: Seattle Seahawks

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (3-7)

The Cardinals have become a lot more fun to watch with Jacoby Brissett under center. The veteran completed 47 passes for 452 yards last week. He’s slinging the ball, and it’s awesome, even if they’re not winning games.

The Jaguars are a confusing team in 2025. One week, they lose to Davis Mills, the next, they’ll beat down on Justin Herbert’s Los Angeles Chargers. They’re trending upward, and a win over Arizona just makes sense.

Winner: Jacksonville Jaguars

Cleveland Browns (2-8) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-8)

Nov 16, 2025; Cleveland, Ohio, USA; Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders (12) throws downfield during the fourth quarter against the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field. Mandatory Credit: Scott Galvin-Imagn Images

It’s officially Shedeur Sanders’ time in Cleveland. The fifth-round rookie will be getting his first start, with Dillon Gabriel in concussion protocol. This is Sanders’ chance to prove the doubters wrong.

The Raiders are, simply put, a bad NFL team. The offensive line is nonexistent, Geno Smith is playing poorly, and the defense can’t stop a nosebleed. If nothing else, the Browns’ defense should be enough to win this.

Winner: Cleveland Browns

Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1)

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) makes a pass against Detroit Lions during the second half at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

The Eagles’ defense has become a juggernaut this season. They’ve allowed the Lions and Packers to score a combined 16 points over the last two weeks. The offense is still a snoozefest, but it might not matter.

The Cowboys’ offense was rolling against the Raiders, and the defense didn’t look too bad either. Dallas still has a shot at the playoffs, but the Eagles seem to be getting back on track.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

Atlanta Falcons (3-7) @ New Orleans Saints (2-8)

The Falcons are now without Michael Penix Jr. for the rest of the season, leaving the offense to Kirk Cousins. They might also be without Drake London in this matchup.

The Saints have an opportunity to stick it to a division rival while they’re down. A win here would hurt their Draft position, but no one loses on purpose. The Falcons can’t fall this far after beating the Bills a month ago.

Winner: Atlanta Falcons

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4) @ Los Angeles Rams (8-2)

Nov 16, 2025; Inglewood, California, USA; Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (9) throws a during the second half against the Seattle Seahawks at SoFi Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-Imagn Images

Matt Stafford and the Rams are on fire, coming off a statement win over the Seahawks. The margin for error in the NFC West is razor-thin, and LA can’t lose its hold now.

The Buccaneers are struggling to recapture their early-season magic, and the NFC South doesn’t feel so easy to win anymore. They need this win, or at the very least, they need their rival to lose.

Winner: Los Angeles Rams

Carolina Panthers (6-5) @ San Francisco 49ers (7-4)

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (13) scrambles out of the pocket against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Nov. 16, 2025.

The Panthers are giving the Buccaneers a run for their money in the South right now. Carolina is 6-5 and chasing the first place spot. They have an unfortunate matchup this week.

The 49ers looked tremendous in Brock Purdy’s return. Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle looked like their usual selves, and the Niners might be a threat again.

Winner: San Francisco 49ers

End Of My NFL Rant

The home stretch is the most important part of the NFL season, and it’s finally here. One loss in November can change the entire course of the playoffs, and some teams can’t afford that.

Bye Week Teams: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Commanders
