Stats

Accuracy/Arm Talent

The All-SEC selection makes every throw on the route tree. The difference? He can also make all of the throws from both hashmarks and across the field. Dart flashes a knack for leading receivers on routes, especially vertical ones. Regardless of tight spaces or not, the ball finds a way.

The prospect completed 64.9 percent of his career with a 9.47 yards per attempt over forty-five games. Concomitantly, Dart throttles up or down the velocity, depending on the route.

From a technical standpoint, the prospect, like a boxer, bounces on his toes occasionally, just before planting and driving. While he can throw on the run, the player's accuracy greatly wanes while moving. Not so much the velocity, but the placement.

Athleticism

Dart's ability to get out of the pocket will translate to the next level. Attested by fourteen rushing touchdowns and 1,539 yards, mobility is not an issue, in the slightest. However, Dart will not streak away from defenders or make anyone forget Lamar Jackson. Instead, he barrels forward, slipping in an occasional cut before fully committing to north and south.

Intangibles

There is a fine line between bold and reckless on the field. Granted, Dart doesn't hesitate when breaking the pocket. In fact, he will look for extra yardage by taking on defenders, shoulder first. That will endear himself to teammates but worry coaches as that disregard for his own health could end up hurting the team.

Now, if Dart can calm that aspect down, solely relying on the bolder aspects of his game, like taking the top off defenses, it's a trade that will make him a better player. From the outside, respect the willingness to do the dirty work.

Raiders Fit

For the price of a second-round draft pick, the Las Vegas Raiders could land their franchise quarterback. As mentioned, he exemplifies the traits, on and off the field, that the Raiders need to succeed.

Furthermore, he presents a moldable talent for minority owner Tom Brady. Brady, who reports center around the fact that he will enjoy a profound role in roster construction/development could view the Ole Miss standout as the one. On the field, Dart brings a wealth of tools to the table, none more important than a drive to improve and win.
