The San Francisco 49ers are competing for the top seed in the NFC, thanks in part to players like Kyle Juszczyk. The veteran fullback's importance to his team was underscored on Tuesday when he was voted to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.
The nod also made his pockets a little heavier.
"FB Kyle Juszczyk's Pro Bowl honor (his 10th), secures him a $250,000 bonus from the #49ers," Spotrac wrote Tuesday on X. "The 34-year-old re-signed in SF on a 2-year, $7.5M contract this past March."
Juszczyk has pulled in 21 receptions for 194 yards and a touchdown this season, along with blocking for tailbacks Christian McCaffery and Brian Robinson Jr.
Juszczyk's 10 Pro Bowl selections are the most ever by someone at his position. He and McCaffery join tight end George Kittle, offensive tackle Trent Williams, special teamer Luke Gifford and long snapper Jon Weeks as 49ers players awarded with the honor.
Juszczyk has been with the 49ers since March 2017, when he signed the richest deal of any fullback to that point, a four-year, $21 million pact. His versatility has been a boon for San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan, who's used him to create matchup issues for opposing defenses.
The 49ers won't have to go far to participate in the annual celebration of the league's best talent. The 2026 Pro Bowl Games are set to take place during Super Bowl LX Week at San Francisco's Moscone Center. The event will feature an AFC vs. NFC 7-on-7 flag football game.
