Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season wraps up with a divisional matchup between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs on "Monday Night Football," and features a pair of franchise quarterbacks making their return from injury.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are hoping to bounce back from their worst season since Mahomes took over under center, with his campaign ending in Week 15 after tearing his ACL. Nix, meanwhile, led the Broncos to a 14-win season and an overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills to reach the AFC Championship Game, but broke his ankle in the triumph over the Bills to end his own season.

Denver swept Kansas City last season by a combined 10 points, winning 22-19 in Week 11 and 20-13 against Chris Oladokun in Week 17, with Nix throwing for 477 yards, one touchdown and one interception in those contests.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Nix’s 7,706 yards across his first two seasons are the eighth-most by a quarterback in NFL history. Can you name the QBs to rack up at least 6,000 yards in their first two professional seasons?
