Training camp is in full swing for the Miami Dolphins.

After three consecutive days of practice, the Dolphins had Saturday off before returning to the field Sunday for their first practice with fans in attendance.

As usual, several storylines have emerged during the first week of training camp. Here are a few players who have stood out, according to Dolphins beat reporters.

Wide receiver Caleb Douglas

Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Reagor and Tutu Atwell, the three projected starting receivers, "all had a quiet week," according to Miami Herald columnist Omar Kelly. One receiver who did not was rookie Caleb Douglas, whom the Dolphins selected in the third round.

Douglas hauled in a one-handed touchdown catch and consistently made plays throughout the week, according to multiple Dolphins reporters.

Miami may need Douglas to be an immediate contributor as a rookie. Tolbert, Atwell and Malik Washington all have NFL experience, but none has served as a No. 1 receiving option.

Douglas is a big-bodied receiver, a polished route runner with surprising speed. He ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine in February. If he continues to impress throughout training camp, he could emerge as Malik Willis' top target this season.

Edge rusher Chop Robinson

Chop Robinson had a tremendous practice Thursday, according to Sun Sentinel columnist Chris Perkins. He recorded two sacks, forced and recovered a fumble, and pressured Willis several times throughout the day.

After a promising rookie season in 2024, Robinson appeared to be on the rise, finishing with six sacks. However, his production dipped last season as he recorded just four sacks while struggling both as a run defender and as a pass rusher.

This offseason, Robinson added 12 pounds of muscle, which he hopes will help him live up to the expectations he carried entering the NFL out of Penn State. If he does, Robinson could become a foundational piece in Jeff Hafley's defensive scheme.

Linebacker Jacob Rodriguez

At Texas Tech, Jacob Rodriguez was known for his knack for forcing turnovers, whether by intercepting passes or using the famous "Peanut Punch." That playmaking ability has carried over through his first three training camp practices.

Not only has he broken up several passes, but Rodriguez has also displayed excellent instincts and rarely makes mistakes. Miami's linebacker room appears set with Tyrel Dodson and Jordyn Brooks starting in nickel packages, but it could become difficult to keep Rodriguez off the field if he continues creating chaos by forcing fumbles and generating takeaway opportunities.
