The 'Active 4th quarter comebacks' quiz

After being cast off by the Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Baker Mayfield has revived his NFL career over the past three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

But heading into the final year of the contract he signed in 2023 – and with negotiations for a new deal at a standstill – the two-time Pro Bowler said he’ll become a free agent after the 2026 campaign. After back-to-back 4,000-passing-yard seasons and a career-high 41 touchdowns in 2024, Mayfield had a down year in 2025, playing through injuries as the Bucs missed the playoffs for the first time since 2019. 

Things are a bit messy in Tampa at the moment, with stalwart defensive lineman Vita Vea requesting a trade and legendary wide receiver Mike Evans signing with the 49ers this offseason.
