Despite being 36 years old and playing less than one-third of defensive snaps over the past two years, pass rusher Von Miller still hopes to play for someone in 2025 and maybe even beyond.
According to NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger, Miller's agent Joby Branion told him that three NFL teams are currently interested int he former Super Bowl MVP. Branion said that the three were "very interested" in Miller's services.
However, Branion did not identify those teams, leaving us all to speculate on whether the interest is coming from serious contenders or fringe teams just hoping for a spark.
“I think Von feels like there’s a pretty good chance he’s going to sign some point either before camp or -- I mean, I don’t think Von’s too crazy about going to training camp,” Baldinger told the DNVR Broncos podcast several weeks ago. “Most guys that age aren’t. They know what they need to do. He looks in great shape. So, I would say he’s going to get signed here [relatively soon].”

It's been a hot minute since Miller was the same disruptive force that was a perennial Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection. He has not made the Pro Bowl since 2019 and has not had double-digit sacks in a season since 2018.
But he has shown that he can be effective on defense in spots. Between 2021 and 2022, he had 17.5 sacks split between three teams and won a Super Bowl.
Over the last two seasons though he's been less effective. He was held without a single sack in 2023 despite playing in 12 games. 2024 saw him re-emerge a bit with 6.0 sacks in 13 games.
Assuming that Miller's limited success in 2024 wasn't just a by-product of the Bills having great defenders across the board, the 36-year-old pass rusher still has some moves that could be a boon to some teams.
Will any team make Miller a contract offer? Will the former All-Pro take a deal with any of them?
