The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. These seven players will not suit up for the game.
Inactives:
Kurtis Rourke is designated as the emergency quarterback. He can enter the game only if both other quarterbacks are injured or disqualified.
On Friday, the 49ers ruled out defensive end Nick Bosa, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, safety Marques Sigle, and defensive tackle James Thompson Jr. for their Week 5 matchup.
The 49ers initially listed two players as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks: defensive end Mykel Williams and cornerback Upton Stout, who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Williams, who is recovering from an ACL injury suffered last season, remained on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list until the team activated him Saturday. Following the move, the 49ers removed Williams from the injury report's questionable designation.
Stout and Williams are active.
The 49ers signed defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo to the practice squad and elevated him and tight end Jack Stoll to the active roster for Sunday's game. The team also released defensive lineman Matthew Judon from the practice squad.
Hours before kickoff, the 49ers announced that tight end George Kittle is dealing with an illness. However, he is still expected to play.
