The mystery surrounding the removal of defensive backs coach Daniel Bullocks from the San Francisco 49ers' official coaching staff page may have been solved.
According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, the Green Bay Packers are expected to hire Bullocks for a role on head coach Matt LaFleur's staff.

The development comes as San Francisco reshapes its defensive coaching staff. The 49ers are reportedly hiring Raheem Morris as their new defensive coordinator, replacing Robert Saleh, who departed to become the head coach of the Tennessee Titans.
Dieter Kurtenbach of the Bay Area News Group and KNBR first noticed Bullocks' absence from the team website. The 49ers had previously requested permission to interview Atlanta Falcons secondary coach Justin Hood, though that request was ultimately denied.
Bullocks has been with the 49ers since Kyle Shanahan took over as head coach in 2017. During the 2025 season, San Francisco's pass defense struggled, ranking No. 25 in passing yards allowed and No. 21 in passing touchdowns surrendered.
According to Pro Football Focus, the 49ers earned a 47.1 coverage grade, ranking No. 25 in the NFL. The defense also recorded just six interceptions, tied with the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans for the second-fewest in the league, ahead of only the New York Jets, who finished with zero.
