San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy understands that more than most. Purdy was famously ¨Mr. Irrelevant,¨ as the final player taken in the 2022 draft. But after starting in seven games during his rookie season due to injuries to the players ahead of him, Purdy became the full-time starter and led the Niners to the Super Bowl following the 2023 season.
