The 'NFL most receiving-1st downs' quiz

Heading into the Battle for Texas between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans in Week 4, Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was asked if he thought he could be guarded. 

His only response was to laugh and say “no.”

With the Cowboys desperately needing a win after their brutal defeat to the Ravens in Brazil, Lamb showed he has good reason to feel that way, catching 17 passes for 189 yards and the game-winning touchdown with less than a minute remaining. 

Despite their 2-2 record, the Cowboys offense has been one of the best in the NFL through four weeks. They trail only the Buffalo Bills in points-per-game with 30.5 so far, with Dak Prescott throwing just one interception and the only other turnover coming on a Jake Ferguson fumble. 

With another winless opponent in the Baker Mayfield-less Tampa Bay Buccaneers awaiting the Cowboys on "Thursday Night Football" in Week 5, Dallas has a huge opportunity to (at least temporarily) match the Giants with three wins atop the NFC East. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. When the Cowboys need a first down, Prescott looks Lamb’s way. The pair have combined for an NFL-best 28 first downs through the air, a stat they led all of football in in 2023. With that being said, can you name every NFL player to record at least 80 first downs as a receiver in a single season?
