It's no secret that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is a huge WWE fan.
He has appeared on their programming multiple times, including at Wrestlemania 39 when he got involved in an angle with WWE superstar The Miz. Kittle was at it with The Miz once again this past Sunday during the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, delivering a "Sweet Chin Music" kick to the Miz's face.
While appearing on "Up & Adams" on Tuesday, host Kay Adams asked Kittle what other WWE superstar, particularly a champion, he would like to mix it up with in the future.
"I'm going to avoid all the Usos and Roman Reigns because those guys travel in packs," Kittle said. "I'm going to avoid that whole thing. I wasn't really a fan of GUNTHER. [He's] a hell of a wrestler, but I think he's pretty disrespectful to everybody that he wrestles, and he thinks he's better than everybody else. So maybe he could get it one of these days. But like I said, he is an incredible wrestler, so I would have to do some training, but surprise attacks are always fun."
The Usos are one of the greatest tag teams of all-time, and Roman Reigns is arguably the greatest WWE Champion ever, so avoiding them would be a wise move by Kittle. As for GUNTHER, he is in the prime of his career as World Heavyweight Champion, and has established himself as one of the top stars in the company.
When Kittle decides to hang up his cleats down the line, perhaps a role within WWE will be on the table. He certainly has the size, athleticism, and charisma to succeed as a professional wrestler. Until then, Kittle will focus on finishing his NFL career with a Hall of Fame resume and helping the 49ers win their first Super Bowl since the 1994 season.
