The Seattle Seahawks are hosting the San Francisco 49ers at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. The 49ers remain without star running back Christian McCaffrey, who continues his recovery from calf and Achilles tendinitis.

San Francisco also entered the game without starting cornerback Charvarius Ward, sidelined with a knee bruise sustained during the Week 5 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Additionally, the 49ers ruled out defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (knee), linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (calf), and kicker Jake Moody (right ankle) as of Wednesday. Safety Talanoa Hufanga was placed on injured reserve after tearing ligaments in his wrist against the Cardinals.

Below are the latest in-game injury updates for the 49ers.

RB Jordan Mason (shoulder, questionable)

Jordan Mason exited the game in the second quarter and was examined on the sideline before heading to the locker room for X-rays. The broadcast announced that he is questionable to return due to a shoulder injury. Rookie Isaac Guerendo stepped in to replace him.

Update: Mason returned to the sideline near the end of the first half with his helmet on. We'll see if he re-enters the game in the third quarter.

Update 2: Mason returned on the opening drive of the second half. "He's good to go," head coach Kyle Shanahan said on the broadcast.

S Malik Mustapha (ankle, questionable)

Rookie Malik Mustapha exited the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury and is now questionable to return. Mustapha started in place of Talanoa Hufanga, who was placed on injured reserve after sustaining a wrist injury.
