4 Teams Showing the Most Interest in Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart Revealed

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart has made quite a name for himself in the weeks and months leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft. Once thought to be a mid-round pick, Dart is now a consensus first-rounder, and some have him projected to land as high as in the top 10.

On Friday, NFL Network's Ian Rappoport reported  that Dart has been visiting with tons of NFL teams, but four of them were expressing more interest than others. Those teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants and Cleveland Browns, all of whom could use another quarterback.

While it is unlikely that Dart lands at No. 2 or 3 overall with the Browns or Giants, there is a chance that the Saints splurge on him at No. 9 based on how much new head coach Kellen Moore seems to like the former Rebel. The Steelers are another likely option as they hold pick No. 21 and need a quarterback as well.

Dart may not be an immediate starter in his NFL career, but he has all the makings to be a star player at the professional level. Many teams feel that taking a flyer on him would be a smart move for the franchise if he can tap into his potential. Both Cleveland and New York could trade back into the first round in an attempt to draft Dart, but wherever he ends up, it is clear that teams view him as a commodity.
