Before the Indianapolis Colts Week 6 matchup even began they had two new injuries occur. The team announced that second string QB Anthony Richardson suffered an eye injury during warmups and was made inactive as a result . And after inactives were submitted the team saw starting CB Charvarius Ward knocked out of the game with a concussion. Losing a star player on your defense is already bad enough but how the injury occurred made it even worse.
Charvarius Ward Sr. is OUT with a concussion sustained during pregame warmups, per the team.

Ward was warming up for the team's Week 6 matchup vs. Arizona Cardinals like he does before each game. When doing a drill he collided with a Colts player who for some reason walked onto the field and wasn't paying attention to where Ward was. That player has since been revealed to be TE Drew Ogletree.
Ward suffered a concussion on the play and was ruled out for the game. This is especially notable because this is his second concussion of the year as he missed the teams Week 2 win over the Denver Broncos due to being in the leagues concussion protocol. There's a solid chance he's also forced to miss the teams Week 7 matchup vs. the Los Angeles Chargers. Having to play a QB like Justin Herbert without Ward and potentially Kenny Moore II who has had to miss multiple weeks already with an Achilles injury would be less than ideal.
Wow. FOX just showed video of #Colts CB Charvarius Ward colliding with a TE during warmups — which resulted in a concussion. He’s now out for today’s game. pic.twitter.com/3DmqDiGb6H
